Oil & Gas

Keep the wells flowing.

Unauthorised drones over an oil and gas facility stop production, trip compliance reviews and put people on edge. NetClear protects refineries, pipelines, ports and offshore assets the way we protect airports and the grid — detect early, recover intact, document everything. Zero RF, zero interference.

Built for operators across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain — delivered through regional partners.

Facility scenarios

Four asset classes, one calm loop

Every oil and gas site is different; the discipline behind them is not. Detect without emitting, respond without jamming, close every incident with evidence.

Refinery perimeter protection

An operating refinery is a hazardous-area environment where nothing may radiate and nothing may fall. Oil refinery drone protection has to detect early, assess fast and end the incursion without jamming, sparks or debris — which is exactly how NetClear is built.

  • Acoustic and optical detection tuned for low, slow aircraft — including zero-RF fibre-optic FPV drones
  • Physical interception with no radio emissions — safe for Ex zones, SCADA and protection relays
  • Intruding drone recovered intact, with a timestamped evidence chain for HSE and regulators

Pipeline corridor watch

Pipeline drone security is a distance problem: corridors run for hundreds of kilometres through open desert with no mains power and no response team nearby. NetClear answers with relocatable watch points that see an overflight coming and log it before it becomes an integrity event.

  • Rapid-deploy sensor kits at stations, valve sites and known overflight points
  • Standalone solar-powered watch — no cabling along the corridor
  • Incident reports that fold straight into integrity-management records

Offshore platforms & ports

Offshore platform drone defence and port drone security share the same constraints — salt air, exposed positions and no tolerance for stray signals near helicopter operations and vessel traffic. NetClear's zero-emission approach fits: passive detection, physical capture, recovered aircraft as evidence.

  • Watch zones over helidecks, cranes, loading arms and berths
  • No interference with marine VHF, radar or navigation aids
  • Parachute recovery — nothing falls onto equipment or crews

Storage terminals & tank farms

Tank farms concentrate risk in a small footprint: hydrocarbon vapour, dense steel and strict rules on any ignition source. A drone that cannot be dealt with cleanly is a drone that shuts the terminal down — so the response has to be precise, physical and fully recorded.

  • Perimeter and above-roof watch with EO/IR day/night confirmation
  • Response with no jamming, no RF and no debris over live plant
  • Full incident record for terminal managers, authorities and insurers

FAQ

Questions oil and gas operators ask

How do you protect an oil refinery from drones?+

Detection first — radar, acoustic and optical sensors, none of which emit RF — then AI assessment and physical interception with a net. Because nothing is jammed and nothing is radiated, SCADA, protection relays and hazardous-area Ex zones are untouched. The intruding drone is recovered intact, with a full evidence chain for HSE and regulators.

Can your system work in desert conditions?+

Yes. The sensors and interceptors are rated for an operating envelope from -10 °C to +40 °C and hold station in winds up to Force 8 on the Beaufort scale, with dust-sealed enclosures for desert deployment. Watch points along pipeline corridors also run standalone on solar power.

Does the system interfere with refinery electronics?+

No. NetClear emits no radio frequency at any stage — detection is passive and interception is physical. That makes it safe for Ex zones, SCADA networks, protection relays and communications links, and it carries no spectrum-licensing burden.
